Hello Reader,
Happy Sunday.
As I thought about what to share this week, I noticed how much the energy of the current Venus retrograde and yesterday's New Moon lingers in the air.
I started writing more about this, but deleted the paragraphs as I was stumbling down a rabbit hole of astrological complexity.
The simple explanation for these two events occurring in the same week is that we are both letting go and setting intention at the same time. One gift of the retrograde is that it helps us let go, while the New Moon beckons us to call things in. Their coincidence means we have made space for the things we are calling in to gestate and be born.
In the coming days, Venus will grow increasingly difficult to see in the night sky, disappearing completely by week's end. As she descends into invisibility (rising and setting too close to the Sun to be visible), we will be called to go still deeper—transforming, healing, and alchemizing old hurts into new insights and beginnings.
As we go inward and reflect, I encourage you to see this as a time of preparation and respite. We live in complicated times, and if we are to step into our full potential and offer the world our piece of the greater puzzle of existence, we and the world are best served by letting the light in to shine on and through us.
